Leadership Qualities And Qualities Of Steve Jobs - 991 Words

I really admire the fact that he didn’t care about the degree â€Å"piece of paper† – a degree does not make you successful – being a leader with vision, confidence and abilities are enough. He has leadership qualities and traits that others only wish they could copy. Steve Jobs didn’t really invent anything at all. But he was great at integrating things into a product. Steve Jobs saw things no one else saw, and he drove the creation of things no other company could create. He knew that leadership is a shared trait. Steve Jobs couldn’t do it all. Apple had/has many leaders and followers. He acted as if the normal rules didn’t apply to him, and the passion, intensity, and extreme emotionalism he brought to everyday life were things he also poured into the products he made. He was once asked what he thought was his most important creation, thinking he would answer the iPad or the Macintosh - instead he said it was Apple the company. Making an enduring company, he said, was both far harder and more important than making a great product. Steve Jobs believed that deciding what not to do was as important as deciding what to do - that’s true for companies, and it’s true for products. With a focussed vision and the people to put vision to reality Steve made Apple a most profitable company. Jobs also took responsibility for all products from start to finish. He was the quality control and knew exactly what his vision was and didn’t stop until it was reached.
